年中大戏 – 花样人间 – 人物介绍 Part 1!
复古最火搭档?!?! No lah! Joys of Life 花样人间 is the 1950s-60s mid-year blockbuster this year celebrating our 30th Drama Anniversary in 2012! If it reminds you of our iconic dramas 春到人间 and 福满人间，you should give yourself a pat on the back! The huge cast brings the 最火搭档 Li Ping and Rui En together!
We are so excited for “Joys of Life”! With the light-hearted storyline, lots of hilarious scenes and super fun cast members…we really can’t wait for it! Although the outfits are not finalised, the cast members tried on their clothes for the first time and let’s see what happened…
Chen Li Ping trying on her wedding gown…She plays 金银娇, a very superstitious and stingy woman…
We absolutely love the vintage look! But who is the groom? Well it’s none other than…Zheng Ge Ping!
Doesn’t he look dashing in the suit? He plays 钱财发, the owner of a bakery.
They share an amazing chemistry! They had to pose with “serious looks” but Ge Ping burst out laughing! He claimed that Li Ping’s breathing sound was very distracting…Even the photographer burst out laughing after awhile! They put on 1930s bridal outfits.

Li Ping kept telling Rui En to smile and look sweet…because this role requires wearing dresses.
They have a great rapport with each other…
Rui En and her new hairstyle…Doesn’t she look good with a fringe? She plays 韩咏咏 who is the adopted daughter of Huang Wen Yong and Lin Mei Jiao. She works hard to support her family and three sisters although she knows that she isn’t their flesh and blood…aww! One of her sisters is played by 人气美女 Wang Xinru previously on local TV in Devotion 阿娣！
Chew Chor Meng is back! Trying to tell a story as 赵大狗… His son will be played by the lovable Taiwanese actor 小鬼! (coming soon, coming soon)
And intently trying to play the Er Hu!
Romeo had his hair cut and has a new hairstyle now!
He plays Zhang Yao Dong’s younger brother…钱二多!

He plays 钱一多, the eldest son of 钱财发 and 金银娇! Are you thinking John Travolta in Grease?
Lastly, Lin Mei Jiao and Huang Wen Yong play husband and wife! They felt that they were paired together again because of their awesome chemistry in “Love Thy Neighbour”!

And lastly…Wen Yong posing for the camera. He has the cutest poses ever! He plays 韩健仁, a chef that gambles away his earnings…watch to find out what happens in the end!

seriously , there are problem with ruien and chenliping image! pardon me, it does not flatter them in anyway. RE dont seen to suit this generation, jeanette aw look better in this generation. I rmb she has this look in Together and she look great. i think RE is more suitable for modern drama.

They should make Ann Kok be part of this show. She is good in such shows. Wok of Life is a good example! At least make her sing the theme song of this show!
Anyways, is she involved in this show’s production? I don’t think so…

hmm.. I really feel not everyone is suitable for 50s to 70s period drama .it is more suitable for actress like Fann, Jeanette, Yvonne, Xiuzhen… they have his natural demure look and their modern look is not as strong as people like Zoe, Joanne, Rui en, we just have to admit these three look better in modern drama. chen liping doesn’t look like this era too.. but I guess the story help alot too.

oops, meddlesome me final comment, read elsewhere and it seems that many commenting that rui en does not suit curly hair , look ugly on her. I take a closer look and have to agree, it’s ugly and unnatural! Better do something quick, in fact I don’t think rui en’s image suit period drama leh….
I KPO as I remembered for A song to remember, when Joanne’s image was revealed, it’s the same kind of disapproving response and mcs just went ahead…then it fired….Imaging is very important!..
I don’t think you all want another blockbuster flop right?………………………

Btw, took a look again carefully at the contents, xiang yun jie jie not in this drama?? liping jie jie very funny and a bit bo liao….hahaha…As if ruien never wear dress before in dramas Funny..hahah Just be herself can already…
And honestly more I read the storyline and one of the male cast, the least interest I have!!
And Wow..3 sisters somemore, story a bit like devotion?? so elder sister role which is played by rui en is 抬轿 surface lead role but in real supporting role to bring those acting her younger sisters such as wang xinru to limelight?… hahaha…
Chew Chor Meng is back…..bravo…..and xiao gui as son…really interesting!!! Romeo Tan seems quite suitable for period drama!
Whatever…still didn’t spark up my interest lah, maybe for others who might like it…I look forward to other dramas

Frankly xiao gui is really popular got 人气, can’t said of wang xinru though …………she is pretty and got 新鲜感 for devotion being young taiwanese lady first time appearing in local TV. But not to forget the ratings of devotion quite bad….oops…..I remember at dramatasy, when xiao gui name was mentioned, there’s response from the crowd, but silence when wang xinru name was mentioned and both was not present…I shall said wang xinru is popular with local media and within mcs/producers and so on, public not really so…………
NO offense, I feel Joy of life is too idol with xiao gui and wang xinru!! Personally I am not looking forward to it! Will support other mcs drama, look forward to 995, unriddle and other dramas!

Wow! Juz by looking at th photos, am already very excited for its debut! When I saw th first photo, I was actually wondering who is th lady beside Rui En! Rui En looks really cute in dresses & two ponytails! Feel tat all th actors/actresses fit th characters in this drama really well! (= Looking forward to th next post for JoysOfLife!!!
