Jesseca Liu, Felicia Chin & Tay Ping Hui in new drama ‘Baby Bonus 添丁发财’
Rejoice, fans of Jesseca Liu! Besides playing the lead role in a Malaysia’s drama production, Jesseca is back in Singapore as the female lead with Felicia Chin in Channel 8’s new drama ‘Baby Bonus’.

Tay Ping Hui 郑斌辉 as 李家成
丽萍的邻居，暗恋晓阳，后成为晓阳男友，但又和丽萍卷进了三角关系郑发财的雇员，从学徒做起，虽已是维修部主管，却经常出外送货，俨然是家具店的一脚踢。
性格：忠厚老实、有上进心，勤劳苦干，是个老好人。16岁那年，因为一场车祸父母双亡，从此成为发财家具店的学徒。任劳任怨为发财工作。
与黄家为邻，和Apple成为好友，常帮她看孩子。Apple母亲美玲非常欣赏家成，一直希望能够招他为婿，家成却暗恋着发财的女儿晓阳。
家成为了追求晓阳，力求上进，还不惜改变自己，还为了帮晓阳实现梦想而卖掉组屋，节衣缩食。可家成发现晓阳。。。
Besides the above Felicia Chin, Jessecca Liu and Tay Ping Hui, ther main stars include Apple Hong, Darren Lim, Xiang Yun, Lin Mei Jiao, Zhu Hou Ren and Terrence Cao. Where got old man pair with young female lead?
Jess looks very matured, she can pair up with TPH & Chris. BTW, she’s already 30, not young already. She can’t pair with those below 30, she surely looks
older than them.
Apple & Darren Lim are about just 5 yrs apart, very compatible.
Maybe only Felicia is a tad too young to pair with TPH. But I think it’s
meant to be this way in the story, so no issue with that.

Jesseca’s role like very plain, nth outstanding, doubt this will be the role for her to shine, i think she’s one of the better younger actress today, hopefully she will be given more challenging material, she used to get more of them when she was a newbie, after that all she got are those goodie-2-shoes, more of flowervase kinda role,a real pity.
Felicia’s role looks interesting though, she still has lotsa work to do to polish her acting after her dreadful turn in TU, lots of room for improvment but i do have good feelings this time round, she seems to find her niche playing this kind of wilful, defiant characters, i though she was quite brillant in The Golden Path, hopefully she will be able to capitalise on this wonderful opportunity to prove her detractors wrong, to show taht she ahs the acting chops to be ranked among the elites.

jesseca’s part is smaller – this may not be a bad thing for her. people will compare her performance with felicia chin. so may not be good for felicia chin to act bigger part, esp if she cannot deliver one show (baby bonus) after another (ultimatum)..then with one big stroke, people will write her off and she will soon have to lose her popularity. big risk big loss.
if u r jesseca’s fan, should be happy cos smaller role means she has more time to get into the role and feel the role and get real into the role.
when someone fakes, we viewers can IMMEDIATELY feel it. for eg, u could tell the difference between fann’s and felicia chin’s acting in ultimatum, couldn’t u?

yes i know your team might be a lil disappointed by the overall ratings.. but considering it was a mid-year blockbuster which you all put so much effort in, abit “anti-climax” dat no post-blogging abt it leh.. wasted larz..
yes i understand it is the lowest overall average rated drama till date.. but dun forget its last episode at 1.07 million viewers is the highest-watched finale episode 9pm drama dis year.. just dat the overall ratings dragged the overall average down..

can i suggest sth for jess’s image?? let her tie up her hair occasionally in the show for variation, or do a french knot. although she looks lovely as always, this image might be too similar to that in TDC, and i really hope she gets to have a change !

Please open eyes big big and see. Jesseca and Felicia are not young looking. Age is just a number. Appearance then matters. You can be young at 18 but what’s the point of being young at age when u actually look like 30yrs old?? Get it??? So stop saying what “old man” pair with young actress. Most important is they don’t look so far apart in terms of appearance. Since the female leads don’t look young themselves, I wonder what’s the issue? Open eyes big. And if you can afford to watch foreign shows, this type of pairing is so common. Honestly speaking, I think Jesseca looks her age around 30+, and Felicia looks way older than her age around 30+yrs old.

Many of my big eyes friends have also expressed views on Felicia about her looking way older than her age. They said she’s very “chao lao”. They cannot believe she’s actually only at her mid 20s. She’s 1984, but we think she looks more like 1978. So isn’t it 30+yrs old? Where the exaggerating??

I think jesseca act better than felicia. Not because i am jesseca’s fan and that is why i support her but i think felicia act cute when she act. She is not a very good actress but she is always given those major roles.
