The team at xin.sg has done a great job this afternoon ‘camping-out’ at the make-up unit waiting patiently just to get this piece of news for you. The video and photos showed how she was transformed in stages…brilliant stuff.

The battle is half won with such a convincing transformation from one of the 7 Princesses into an old ugly wicked woman who returned to milk her abandoned daughter…evil.
This Princess is evolving well into a serious actress…even when speaking to the camera, she already expressed the persona of the role she would be playing….no wonder movie directors have been raving so much about her these few days…

please is it really that ugly scenes then sure is good actress??? My goodness.. Then ask all other actresses to just be ugly liao lor.. Then sure got movie .. Got award… Please who wont sacrifice for drama to be ugly if their show is needed.. Its just that she always get this kind of role while others dun.. Does that mean her acting is good??? That the thing… Imaging always manage to help them in succeeding to win audience sympathy but doesnt mean they act well.

wow…that definitely doesn’t look like Joanne Peh but it is. lol… I must say the make-up are very well done and looks very real.
So image wise, it is very successful. Whether or not she can portray her character well, I’m not sure. But let us wait and watch the drama later on before giving any discouragements or negative comments. =)

I agree with u. If ’sacrifice’ and ‘ugliness’ = awards, then every actress should be given a ‘ugly’ role to sacrifice too. to be fair to all actress. I’m sure there are many better actress who are good but not given enough opportunities, start giving them ugly roles now! haha

I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. You know why? Because I hate this star like hell! She’s so arrogant! Why promote her so hard sia? Jesseca Liu and Rui En are equally good what. At the very least, Felicia Chin And Jeanette Aw are worth promoting. This girl, worth it anot? Let’s see whether she shines after this drama then. In terms of popularity, definitely no change. But in terms of confirming her as a good actress, I don’t know. We shall see then.

When will Mediacorp be producing period drama like those stories adapted from Jin Yong and Gu Long. It’s seems about a decade since Mediacorp produced its own period drama.

oh wow. i never knew joanne was labelled as an arrogant artiste. pls, just go and google and ask around, when joanne sees people on the streets, would she just stick up her nose and walk away? NO. she’d smile to you and gladly say hi to you. she can be said to be one of the most down to earth artiste. and when was she promoted so hard? she has NO shows until this 180 epi drama begins. she has not appeared on the screen for close to a year, and you call that promoting her? if that is called promoted so hard, then what do you call the other artistes who have appeared so often on tv or something?

Those are directors from the movie production houses.
You can turn a deaf ear on one expert’s view, but you can’t
ignore all the 3. The fact that they are unanimous on JP shows
that there is something in her which we lay person don’t see.
I saw JP lately filming with Peire. She looked gorgeous
in person and she walked with very confident gait.
JP mentioned in the last issue of STYLE magazine that she had
auditioned for the role of Rose Chan. This shows this young
lady has guts and definitely a positive trait for someone aspires
to be a character actress. This is precisely why I like DYT,
not just for his manly good looks, but also his gusty spirit.

Tell the directors not to talk so much la. Like her so much then offer her a movie deal, make everything solid. I can also say so-and-so has got hollywood potential! Anything can be said.

I still dont get it why there are so many movie directors saying that she has the potential, gleaming eyes, blah. They shouldnt give their opinions so soon. Not a single movie have been made yet. i support wow on joanne comment. serious i dont know whether joanne is a good person but i think that at least she is a hardworking and good actress. at least she is willing to try it out. of course maybe will see her performance when this drama is on air because this will be her 1st drama after she won best actress and after LNY and the viewers will have expectation. i also think that mediacorp didnt over expose her a lot, she dont have many ads on TV until recent jetstar and she almost absent herself on TV one whole yr after LNY so how can they said Mediacorp promote her until jialat jialat? those who said those comment pls re think on what you guys have said. i believe you all are just jealous because she is the FIRST princess to get the Best actress after the ah jies huang bi ren and ivy lee era. but Face it- she is indeed the first princess to win it.

in fact, she so real
in fact, it sounds stupid to critise JP when you don’t even know her and you have to get your info on her from a secondary source and start writing about her like you are her personal manager writing for her testimonial.
Perphares people label her as an arrogant actress when she replies to the critisms on her blog, but once again, that shows how true she is to herself.
And i may be wrong, but deep down, i feel that JP is more approachable than JA.

I find J Peh stands out because of her height. For any star, height is very important. She is natural whether she is hosting or acting. She is very natural in the Jetstar ad too. Like a sunshine gal.

Paul, so you agree with those LOCAL directors that JP is a movie-star
material lor???? That means you also agree with them that JA isn’t a movie-star
material lah????
Hehe, actually, right from the start, JP is the one that Mediacorp wanted to
promote lah. JA is just being made use to get the media over to JP’s side lah.
This is how Mediacorp did it :
1. They purposely gave the lead role to JA in TLN, but actually the supporting role given to JP was the meaty one (thru imaging). Then when the media
purposely slam JA’s acting & praise JP’s acting (by now she’s already a media
darling), Mediacorp quickly change JP’s supporting role to leading role for
the SA nomination & let her win (JP already won the media votes, the remaining
votes are from Mediacorp’s mah)
2. But after winning the BA, JP still can’t be hot & still inviting lots of doubts from the public.
3. Then Mediacorp used the same tactic again. Purposely gave JA the coveted
lead role (coveted coz Paul made it to be lah) & gave JP a role in a 7pm drama.
When everybody thinks that role isn’t a lead role & isn’t a COVETED role,
they slowly add in a dual role which is meaty (thru major imaging lah),
to help raise her chance at winning BA lor.
But why in Singapore Acting history, those who went thru MAJOR make-over
in imaging will have a high chance of winning BA leh?
I don’t see such thing happening in China, HK & Taiwan Best Actress/Actor
award.
Are our judges in BA really so shallow meh?
Take away those major imaging make-over & specially tailored scenes,
JP is just a passable actress, really.
But the most successful of JP’s image make-over is actually done by Mediacorp
(eg Paul). They gave JP a major image overhaul, from an arrogant newbie
to a media-friendly, colleague-friendly, “serious” actress lor.
Only old birds like me will be able to see thru all these lah, hehe.
(Paul: Why don’t you spend your energy in hating someone to loving caring for others? What’s the point in getting yourself so upset?)

Why people are critising about Joanne Peh so much ? Not because she is lousy , not because the people who critise her really hate her or are jealous of her , but instead people are afraid of her !
Especially fans of Jeanette Aw ! They feel that Joanne Peh instead of a lousy actress , on the contracy is actually a good actress instead , so they feel that the position of their Idol ( JA ) would be threatened by JP after all , she is the FIRST Princess to win the Best Actress Award !
And now they seem to be so much publicity and so much News on Joanne Peh than any other Princess or Jeanette Aw ! So those people feel insecure , thought by keep critising her & bombarding her with negative comments can really bring down her popularity & change people’s liking & support towards her !
That is the ultimate main aim & motive of those people who critise her ! After all , like I said before , majority of the viewers are either Jeanette Aw Fans or are supporters of her , or are just merely prefer her to other Princess or actress ) so she has a strong fan base group …
I feel that instead of giving her lesser opportunities because Joanne Peh is being critisised , I feel MEDIACORP should all the more give her even more Dramas & even more opportunities instead , to perform and so as to prove all her critics wrong & make Joanne Peh an even more stronger person !

I beg to differ on that. For male celebrities, I agree. Height is indeed important.
But look at JP, and see how she looks like with her co-stars. She is too tall. Too manly. Even with her enhanced boobs, she still lacks the womanly petite feel that is needed for most female characters.
And she is too dark.
Zoe mama is right. She looks modern (but who can’t, its just wearing accessories to enhance your presence).
She looks sporty.
But that is all.
JP is limited in her roles. She is moving in the path of Huarn Biren. Who is another ’strong woman’ persona.
If anyone wants to contest that, “But Fann is also very tall!”. Well, Fann looks like a woman. A soft woman.
So JP, better do more plastic surgery. Soften your features. And that smile of yours, probably make her more popular with children, but to a man like me, can’t make my heart flutter at all.
To all ladies reading this space, if you think having boobs makes you more lady-like, think again. You can have the biggest and nicest boobs in the whole world but if your face is man, then you will just be very turn-offing.

I agree with you that height is very important but I muz say Joanne peh is overgrown. Her height is like 1.73m which makes her uncompatible with shorter male stars like nat ho, adrian pang, shaun chen, zzen zhang, elvin ng, desmond xu. They are all around 1.75-1.8, the height difference is only a mere 7cm which will go haywire.

her height is just right. 1.73m is a nice height although I do agree that the height for female actresses aren’t really important but I suppose if you have height you would stand an advantage. Please people…Jesseca Liu is taller than Joanne Peh and she looks compatible with Elvin and anyway, I’m sure some of the male actors that you listed are taller than 180cm.

John, i really agree with you. it obvious that jeanette fan are afraid of joanne, imagine their idol are the one that actually have closer chance to become the first p to be the best actress and also the ah jie princess. and they thought that mediacorp would give jeanette for sure, since mediacorp give jeanette a lead role in little nyonya.
in summary, jeanette fan are just trying to write all sort of things to bring down joanne and then praying for it to be approve, once it approve. the management (may come and see) and know how bad popularity joanne has.

I am a man but I have standards for the ladies I admire. And plastic boobs do not attract me much.
Not only do plastic boobs lack the soft touch, they look too perky when the lady is lying down. And that is a serious turn-off.
One reason why we like to watch ladies run is because their boobs run with them, i.e. jump around ‘boing boing’. And fake boobs do not go ‘boing boing’.
And that is JP for you.
I rather have a smaller-but-natural-breasted lady anytime.

One thing for sure, her speakers (i don’t call them fans cos I think she is unpopular) are very offensive and very into accusing others. For instance they will drag the poor Jeanette in when they see negative comments targeting at JP. the negative comments MUST be from Jeanette’s fans. They are always maligning Jeanette’s fans and sprouting baseless accusations yet they are trying to make Jeanette’s fans look bad and bring JP higher.
Everyone has eyes to see who’s the disgraceful ones.

May I know which directors are talking about her? Where is the articles? Is she trying for some new movies or? Hope to read the articles etc…… But funny la actually last time got Zoe and Fann fans fight, now got JA and JP fight haha, surely is it everyone treating them as the next 2 ah jie? More than 75% of Mediacorp’s customers are not internet-savvy, at least for this day and age. So if netizens are stupid enough to think that posting with different igns and telling Paul how you hate Joanne is going to make MCS dispose of her, you netizens really have to come up with better ideas.
MCS cares about the general public’s view of its own artistes and judging by some(or one?) crazed fans of Eelyn or Jeanette, I could see that your comments would probably be overlooked, if not, just laughed at for it’s stupidity (somebody actually made a list of artistes and wanted Paul to blog about them in that order? HAHAHA?).
Just to let Steve and Ron or Steve/Ron know, your idol Eelyn still need some years to shed her image as a vicious woman, I read in your comments that you are pretty “sure” she will get into Top 10, I’m sorry to say that I even doubt her ability to even squeeze into Top 20. She is definitely a star to watch, but for now.. she lacks in popularity.
As for Jeanette fans, although things are looking good for her, but I still feel that it could be better if she would just switch over to MCS. Although TLN put her in a positive light, I’m unsure of how long it would last. She must really treasure this EOY BB and put up a performance that would REALLY make viewers like her for good. All I can say is that Jeanette needs tailored made roles and not those roles she has been getting the past 3 or 4 years. However, this EOY BB will be her last tailored role before she officially goes back to how it’s like for her a few years back ..

Despite Paul Chan having said many times over before here in his replies to readers Comments that words used on the internet can be used as evidences in court & may get one entangled in a potential legal case … Such that he or she may became liable for legal action against himself/herself …

I am soooo soooo disappointed. I never say I hate JP, I nvr scold her, neither did I insult her. I only made my comments and I got slammed. People juz like to misinterpret my comments. Thats my own personal comment on her height, which woman you see is 1.73m tall? Walk along the streets, her height is like so RARE.
In my opinion, it may not be a good thing. For your info, JL is only 1.7. I think JP may be the tallest woman. In our daily lives, which gals are taller than 1.65? A few. But which gals are taller than 1.7? Fewer. And which gals are taller than 1.73? Even fewer. If you are talking about the americans, its different. She is pairing with asians guys which are not that tall. From 1.75-1.8++.

Does Mediacorp got a division handling overseas marketing for local artistes? Why then no local artistes can get overseas projects except
Fann (but she has a China agent), Chris (he also got China agent) & Yvvone?
This reminds me of what JP told the local mag, that she wants to change
Mediacorp by being the FIRST local artiste to be known overseas, as she
feels that why local artistes can’t be known overseas. Errh, she lives in the
cave? She doesn’t know Fann is making a living out of doing overseas projects?
And I didn’t know that so many u-grads can’t manage mediacorp, so our dear
u-grad JP wants to take over the job from her bosses.
Oh yah, I forgot, there’s 1 thing those U-grads in mediacorp can’t do, but

as mentioned before, MDC should take the cue from Taiwan and fly the lead artistes of tln to HKG to promote the show; this would also provide publicity for them and maybe an opportunity to penetrate into the HKG market … haha the lead female and male would be JA and 715; and may be also DYT. sorry, no offence, objectively speaking, still of the opinion that JP should not be considered as the lead unless you are telling me that i have got the wrong definition of “lead” and the whole tln is not centering around Yueniang but Yizhu; and Yizhu has the same airtime as Yueniang.
I don’t think JA would like her roles to be customised; just that she has to accept any roles that is given to her unless you are saying that she has the prerogative to decline and request for other roles; not forgetting that she is not a full-time MDC artiste. i’m sure JA would love to have other types of role. JA still has a lot of potential and MDC should try to give her the opportunity to stretch to her fullest potential by giving her roles that she has never taken on before.

The fight is always on, in the past between Zoe and Fann, and now between Jeanette and Joanne. Well, I think who will take after Zoe Tay, MDC has already had the person in mind. If I did not guess wrongly, Joanne is in a better position to take over Zoe Tay in the long run.
Jeanette is always contented with what is given to her but in terms of beauty, Jeanette is pretty.
In terms of acting and guts, I think Joanne has its all. So fans of Jeanette will support her in whatever drama she is acting. Honestly, I would prefer Jeanette to do short telemovies that will not stretch her too much. She cannot take too long a drama like 180 episodes so I salute Joanne for doing such a long drama.
I am not speaking for Jeanette, it is my personal opinion.

Pls leave Jeanette, Fann and Zoe alone. They are not involved in JP’s gossips and criticisms.

Conflicts and all on this site. When your quarrel, the stars get pulled in when they actually did nothing wrong. Kim, NO ONE is going to replace Zoe. Zoe is a huge star, a huge ah-jie and that’s it. Neither is anyone going to replace Fann. They’re the ah-jies in our hearts. As for the competition between Jeanette and Joanne, we’ll know who will get to the top next year. Not forgetting Felicia who has been shining for some time recently through The Ultimatum. So it’s going to be 2010 when we know who is our 3rd ah-jie. If Baby Bonus shines, Felicia is. If Together shines, Jeanette is. If Your Hands in Mine shine, Joanne is. So we will know, who is going to garner the awards on 2010. On my personal view, Jeanette from Together might be getting herself a nomination in the Best Actress Nomination List. If your disagree with me or something, voice out your comments!

Is there anyway to stop the blue papers on their so called ”Bao” so much so called industry secret or mislead their readers with their headlines?
Last mth Zoe Tay is being slammed on her interview but the interview was adopted from Style mag and Wan Bao misquote and mislead and add in incorrect information on their prints. there’re diff btwn the content from Style and Wanbao and the readers were misled and have negative impression towards zoe.
Few mths ago, Fann was facing a tight schedule so could not attend Chris’s dad funeral, the Blue papers keep on attack her again, again and YET again. Not to mention previously when chirs was on charge they also slammed Fann by not attending the trials or what. With zero knowledge on fann tight schedule and claims that they have insider news their relationship then was on ice. Leading all these bad impression towards fann.
Last 2 weeks, they mentioned the so called industrial secrets of the female stars- but it is so obviously that the Blue papers are hinting the readers that the female stars are the 7 princessess of MDC, just that they used nick names. They slammed the princessess and create negative image of them.
Is there anyway for Mediacorp to rectify these problems when the papers publish incorrect information or etc? Because in their U weekly and Wan Bao they always did such acts. If mediacorp dont want to complain, how can we complain? through MDA? or anything. cos they are basically tarnishing the actresses reputation.

At most times, I come to Paul’s blog to get the latest news about dramas & stars, & that’s all. I hardly contribute because I’m just disgusted by some fans or may be even one fan of a star who keeps cloning himself or herself & keeps blasting another star. For what? Do you think readers coming to Paul’s blog are morons & do not know who the clones are?
In the first place, I’m not even an ardent fan of JP but if there’s JP in the drama, I’ll watch as long as time allows. I’ll still maintain my stand that height is very important to an artiste, be it an actor or actress. If you feel that JP is too tall for Nat Ho, Zzen Zhang etc, then it’s not JP too tall but Nat Ho & Zzen Zhang are too short.
Many years ago, ex-Mediacorp actor, James Lye went to HK for some promo, my friend (sporean) who lives in HK now who had always thought that Jame Lye was tall , & when he stood next to the other HK actors, he looked really short. So conclusion, it’s not JP is too tall, it’s the majority Sporean men or actors are short in comparison to actors in the Asian TV circle.
Having said this, I must clarify that I didn’t equate height with the ability to act. I’m only saying that height is important to be noticed.

produce good quality dramas, that’s why they are not known overseas.
to “huh”, Jp is like that, always talk big & act big, in all ways.
If she has already make it, I don’t mind her to talk arrogantly. But look
at where she is now, but yet talk as if, she can be the saviour for local
showbiz. Isn’t she saying all those mediacorp producers, marketing people,
directors, scriptwriters & most of all, the bosses are all inefficient.
But also quite true, look at mediacorp, celebrated 45 yrs of TV, but where is
it’s place outside Sg? JP is right. Paul, I think you should abdicate your
‘throne’ & ‘çrown’ of marketing chief to JP, so that we can see how capable
JP is.

In my opinion JA can not make it in promote TLN to HK.
First I think she would embarrass Mediacorp (sorry no offence) because I think she can not answer when being question (do you remember on 2008 countdown when Dasmond Koh asked her simple question & she can not answer ?)
Second she is not BA though she is main lead (I think beside main lead there is 2nd or 3rd lead, right? and it’s not wrong for 2nd lead to win BA if he/she is better. Recent 9pm show which TVB drama, the actress, I forget her name, got BA, right? but was she have a biggest role in that show? she was not play for entire 50 or 60 episode.)
Third HK has many actresses & actors which have good acting skills, the viewers are wise enough to judge who is better.
And also, to doing promote show of TLN to HK, I think it should be depended by TVB whether need it or not.
Once again, I’m sorry if I offend JA’s fan but this is just my opinion.

Zoe Tay is popular. She is the type of star whom most people like.
And that is Ah Jie.
In that aspect alone, how is you-know-who heading in that path? I would think she ranks joint 4th in terms of popularity, among the 7 princesses. The other join 4ths would be the tall princess. The cool princess should be third. The PR princess should be second. With the last 2 spots taken by a kawaii princess and another princess who has taken flight at the last minute recently.
And the most popular is undoubtedly the nyonya princess.
To have an ah jie like the nyonya princess is unprecedented. She is in a league of her own. you-know-who seems to be trying to go on the path of our other tall and beautiful ah jie. But she still lacks the ‘guan zhong yuan’ this ah jie have too.
That’s why you-know-who will be something like Huang Bi Ren. Can act. But always, lacking a little behind in terms of popularity to be the ah jie.

By looking at your judgement, you are a person who speaks without thinking, or perhaps to start off with, you don’t even have a brain. She was excited at the Countdown Party then, period. She garnered 4 awards on that night which Joanne Peh did not even managed to garner 1. Felicia got 2 awards on that night too. What does this goes to show? In terms of popularity, Jeanette and Felicia and definitely leading! In terms of acting, it is actually not because Jeanette’s acting is not good but the role given to her was a very good one, just that it is not juicy enough compared to Joanne’s one. Joanne garnered the Best Actress award because her role was the juciest out of the actresses which are nominated. Are you telling me that Fann and Li Ping are not of her acting standard? Hey, you got to be kidding me then. I strongly believe that if any one of them who are nominated as the Best Actress gets the role which Joanne got, that person is going to win. I’m not saying that Joanne’s acting is not good and stuff but I think that it is not fair if you compare Jeanette to her this way. Jeanette is a girl who is not greedy alright?! From what I can witness in her blog, she’s a very nice person. So is Joanne of course. But please, in future if there are conflicts like this, don’t always pull Jeanette into it. Morever, she did nothing wrong. As for who will live up to the hype and be the new ah-jie, my answer for that question is Jeanette. She has created history and proved what she’s got in The Little Nyonya last year. And this year that she has gotten another important role, she’s going to live up to the hype even more. Let’s see who will emerge as the new queen at the awards in 2010. I got to say that in terms of popularity, the only “princess” that is threatening Jeanette is Felicia. Felicia has became more and more popular these days. If she still live up to the hype after Together has finished its airing, then Felicia might be the new queen. Joanne has gotten a confirmation through the awards last year. She proved her acting and all. But in terms of popularity, she clearly does not live up to the hype. She is far away behind from Jeanette and Felicia. Definitely, not missing out Rui En who has successfully gotten the award of the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes continuously despite being not exposed so much. And last but not least, I hope Fiona will get back before the awards and give everyone a good explaination for backing out at the last moment to garner the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award.
In my personal view, the 5 actresses that will be nominated as the Best Actress next year are..
Zoe Tay, representing, The Ultimatum.
Fann Wong, representing, The Ultimatum.
Felicia Chin, representing, The Ultimatum.
Jeanette Aw, representing, Together.
Hong Hui Fang, representing, Housewives’ Holidays.
As for the Best Supporting Actress award, I don’t know who will be nominated as the competition is too furious.

actually, I think Rui En, Jeanette, Felicia’s popularity are roughly on the same level. Joanne has definitely got back her popularity after TLN.
I agree with most names on the list as they seem like the usual people getting the awards except that I don’t even Ivy is qualified this time round, she doesn’t has any shows as far as I can remember. I think it’s because she’s pregnant again lol and whatever happen to the rumours that she’s leaving showbiz so I’ll replace her with Ann who’s probably the most exposed female artiste on our TV screen for this year which is great because I like her haha. Regarding Pat, I hope she can finally get in but meh, I thought she could score that award after seeing her excellent performance in Holland V back in ‘04 but in the end she still didn’t get it.

Yeah, I agree with calista. Plz do not pull in any artistes when u fans are arguing. I would like to reply CT again on the talk about the height of artistes.
I agree that zzen zhang, nat ho are a little short, standing at 1.75m. But most Singaporean actor are around that height, so JP definitely and have no choice but to pair with them. When u watch tln, did u guys notice the height difference between JA and Jp, Jp and 715, JP and Zz? Firstly, JP look so much taller than JA, it shows how short JA is and also how tall JP is. Jp is almost one head taller than JA. But you muz remember most of our 7princesses and artises are around that height range. Ivy lee, Yvoone lim, quan yi feng, kym ng, fiona xie, dawn yeoh, rui en, felicia. They are all round 1.6-1.68. And without the use of high-heels Jp looks so huge.
Also, when pairing with 715 and ZZ the height difference is too little. ZZ is only 1.75 and with JP long fluttering hair, she will look taller. Luckily, 715 is 1.8++ which makes the height diff a little more. Around 10cm. But once again, Jp fluttering hair will add her a few inches higher. And what if she wears high heels, she will look like 1.78 already.
Thats my own personal opinion once again. I meant no harm. Andand, if the year end 180 epic drama, she pairs up with PEIRCE PNG. He is only 1.8. If she is a lawyer and needa wear high heel she will look same height as PP. And she will be acting as 55 years old? Then let me ask u, is a auntie that tall? 1.73?

Basically I’m quite agree with what Callista & Kim said above.
I’m glad because I think you both are more reasonable than others. I hate the ppl that always slam or slander other actress with rudeness and harsh comments in order to bring down them & put their idol high instead of encourage and make constructive comments.
And I’m sorry if you feel I’m quite harsh when saying “embarrass” but deep in my heart what I want to express is that I have feeling that JA is lack of something (the communication skill or whatsoever that I think it’s more important in many area especially in entertainment industry) then make me doubt her ability to be a successor of Zoe Tay or Fann Wong. Because we can not just see for a short run period. Yes indeed, JA is popular after TLN but what I feel that the successful of TLN not contributed by JA alone but the good storyline, the publicity and good perfomance of other actors and actresses have most contribution in it. The 2nd reason is the hype of TLN will over and the 3rd reason is other princesses is more younger than her.
The popularity standard can not just be measured by countdown result as we all know that about 70% of voters come from JA & FC fans (strong published by this blog) which most of them are students and just a little of household and not IT savvy that should suppose to be more viewers. So we can imagine how come ZT, IL, CLP and others can not win?
And I understand why you assume that JP is less popular than JA & FC. Yes indeed. I think it’s because last time bad press from media about her for being arrogant have left memory in some of you. But have you all understand her (from her blog) & meet her before? I did, and I want to tell you that she is far from what you (Anti-JP) accused. I hope you will do so before slam her.
And one thing we can not deny that she is getting more popular now.
Yeah, I’m not afraid to admit that I’m one of her fans (just recently because impressed of her good performance in TLN).And I feel that she has many potentials to be a super star. I hope she will continue to work hard & hope God bless her and may her dreams come true.

Need not to argue more. Although we always got attacked here, the important is stand still. Because Joanne never disappointing us, she might not the best but she is not like the rest. Actually i’m agree with Cherish, perhaps Joanne lack of popularity if compared to other artistes, but her acting skill do the talk. No one is born to be talented and perfect, but isn’t the hard work and enthusiasm is much more being appreciated? Give a chance to her, i believe she will be even better.
