Best Actors & Best Actresses nominees at the Asian Television Awards!
‘小娘惹 The Little Nyonya’ is running for Asia’s Best Drama title and many of its stars now stand a chance to win the 14th Asian Television Awards. Amongst the many nominations, let me bring your attention to the Best Actor and Best Actress categories as they will be of high interest to you all…
Asia’s Best Actor Nominees:

戚玉武 Qi Yu Wu (小娘惹 The Little Nyonya)…likeable role but fellow contenders are just better…sorry…next…

方展发 Pierre Png (小娘惹 The Little Nyonya)…unlikely to win though you can’t deny that Pierre is filled with 明星魅力…

陈汉玮 Chen Han Wei (不凡的爱 By My Side)…step aside all other nominees, here comes the most deserving winner of all! His current breakthrough (like one after another lor) performance in ‘企鹅爸爸 Daddy At Home’ is attracting high viewership with scores of new viewers tuning in every night (current 9pm Channel 8 drama)! Heaven got no eyes if he doesn’t win…

Adrian Pang (Red Thread)…no doubt a very good actor and he is a dark horse in this category…
Other actors nominated are Lee Min Ho (Boys Over Flowers), Myung Min Kim (Beethoven Virus) and Patrick Teok (Red Thread)…
Asia’s Best Actress:

郑惠玉 Zoe Tay (双子星 The Ultimatum)…you may not like the drama but too bad you are not in the Asia’s panel of judges…so Zoe may get her big break…

范文芳 Fann Wong (沸腾冰点 The Defining Moment)…one of Fann’s best performances and her time to score a big one may be now…

白薇秀 Joanne Peh (小娘惹 The Little Nyonya)…Joanne didn’t win Star Awards Best Actress by luck…she may just get a double whammy… Joanne is already playing two roles in our 7pm drama ‘想握你的手 Your Hand in Mine’ and you will get to see Joanne’s two roles in one ultimate showdown scene! You don’t get to play two roles if you are just ‘average’ you know…

林湘萍 Yvonne Lim (一切完美 Perfect Cut)…Yvonne’s entry with ‘Perfect Cut’ stand a good chance too as hers is a one hour stand alone movie-like performance which packed all elements of a potential win with the judges (you can feel it better than some other ‘rojak’ edit of different scenes from different episodes)…
Other Asian stars include: Michelle Yim (Moonlight Resonance), Gu Hye Seon (Boys Over Flowers) and Robyn Malcolm (Outrageous Fortune Series 4)
Alright, 米雪 Michelle Yim is very good in 家好月圆 Moonlight Resonance and she may win as well. Not sure about other nominees…maybe the New Zealander (Robyn Malcolm) is the ultimate killer?
Anyway, congrats to all our stars…
A total of 204 entries from 14 countries have been short-listed for the 14th annual presentation of these prestigious industry honours.
This year the Asian TV Awards drew an impressive 1,020 entries from 16 countries; these entries have been assessed by 46 specialist judges from 12 countries across the region. All results are audited by international auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The winners of 33 esteemed Awards will be announced at the Asian Television Awards 2009 Gala Dinner at Pan Pacific Singapore on 3rd December 2009.

shocking, why this year so many nominees from S’pore????? and most of them from the Ch 8 dramas? 8 of them? sure or not?
If I’m not wrong none of the above ever won before, but I remember Fann was the 1st local actress who was nominated in 1996/97 for the triple-role she played in jie lian huan. She only acted for 2 yrs then, though she didn’t win, everybody was already talking about her acting talent. Ivy Lee was the only Ch 8 actress who won once a few yrs back. Did Adrian Pang win before?
The previous year, usually local comediennes got nominated, this year no nomination fr this category
oh ya, did Li Nanxing also opt out from this award?
It’s quite unfair to compair JA & JP in TLN, cos JP’s scene really dramatic, whereas JA’s scenes are quite flat.

Hi Paul,
Just curious – was Jeanette’s name/performance submitted by MCS for consideration for the Best Actress Award @ ATV? I find it highly surprising that she did not make the nominees list. After all, to quote you, you can’t be an average actress to play dual roles.
(Paul: Yes, hers was submitted together with Joanne Peh and the rest but judges didn’t pick her in the end…)

Thanks for the reply Paul. And congrats to the rest for their nominations. It’s great to see an unusually high representation by MCS in the acting categories.
To Jeanette: Hope you’re not too disappointed! Many have already acknowledged your performance in TLN, and while a nomination is always nice, it doesn’t take away the fact that your acting skills, hard work and effort are recognized and your popularity (not to mention endorsements) have increased after this show. You were nominated last year for ‘Rhythm of Life’, and as Paul himself says, you can’t be an average actress to take on two roles, so hope you won’t be too affected! If anything, use this as motivation for a breakthrough performance in ‘New Beginnings’!
Looking forward to another riveting performance from you in ‘Together’!

You’re just jealous cause your idol not nominated.
Why you can not accept the fact ??? It should prove to you that judges in Star Award 2009 were not blind. And JP deserved Best Actress more than JA.
Congrats Joanne…

y is every1 aguring over JA & JP? & paul so lee min ho is nominated rite? hope he wins! is he coming down the singapore again? cos the last time he came i didnt get to see him. & those tickets were really ex cos ppl were fighting for them… i feel so much like a betrayer… i started liking korean dramas when my mum bought dvd…then came BOF, then i started idolising lee min ho & the actors/actresses in the drama. but i also like some regional dramas & artistes la…

Sorry ho, this might be a big deal for Zoe, but definitely not big enough for Fann.
I can see Zoe is really desperate for this kind of recognition.
Anyway, I don’t think Zoe has what it takes to win.
And for CHW, stop making us hate him by telling us how much you love him, Paul.

Why is it like that? I really don’t understand how the judges chooses. Look at Jeanette in TLN. Every performance so perfectly executed and REAL. Emotions looks sooooo real. I just can’t accept this cruel reality.
But I believed that Jeanette’s performance will one day be recognized by awards. Keep up the good work. And Jeanette had been nominated already in Rhythm Of Life.
disappointed on 12 Nov 2009 at 9:50 pm #
utterly disappointed that JA was not nominated; as Paul himself says, you can’t be an average actress to take on two roles! JA’s sacrifice in TLN is not appreciated and recognized at all. that poor girl having lost so much sleep for several nights and lost so much weight after TLN.
To Jeanette: Many of us have recognized your hardwork, effort and acting skills and you have won the hearts of many with your popularity and numerous endorsements. As what “huh” said, hope you won’t be too affected by this and use this as a motivation for a breakthrough performance in “Together and/or ‘New Beginnings’!
looking forward to “together” and you will always have my support.

I hope Jeanette wont be disappointed. Am not going to say much in case people quote me saying that i am sour grape. When the time is ripe it will be your jeanette, and that time am sure everyone will recognise your effort and performance. And to me , you already proven yourself! And what u gain is actually more than what you lose, maybe TLN is really not your lucky charm although you are the one to put in more time and energy in this drama, and not a single appreciation from your own station. ( oppsss.. sorry do i sound sour grape? ) It’s alright.. because end of the day when we say LITTLE NYONYA everyone know it refer to you.. and you already represent little nynoya and the icon for little nynoya.. so dun be sad! Jia you!

Well we can see that you didnt really watch 家好月圆 Moonlight Resonance because you mistook it as 花好月圆, but can tell for sure 米雪 Michelle Yim is fantastic, hope she wins!
Actually there are many fantastic hk actors/actresses, wonder why they aren’t nominated. the other countries never really nominate their actors/actresses, is it cos Asian Television Award isn’t very prestigious huh?
(Paul: Actually they did but somehow they lost out to these nominees…awards are like that de lah…beauty is in the eyes of the beholder)
Only for good acting. on 12 Nov 2009 at 10:29 pm #
Firstly congrats to the local actresses who get nominated, however, I believe that Michelle Yim will win in the end, her performance in Moonlight Reasonance is too strong to be contended with. From the list, I guess Zoe and Fann will stand a better chance to run in this race as a dark horse, though, i like Zoe role in by my side better.

when did Joanne become proud after the award? she’s still as friendly and nice as ever.. RW, maybe you should try talking to her one day should you bump into her on the streets. i can assure you that she’s a nice lady
anyway, really happy to see so many local stars nominated for the ATV this year! Paul.. when and where will the ATV awards be held? will they let fans in to see/support? hope they do! maybe you can feedback to them that they should let fans in to show the support for our local artistes.

This is Zoe’s third nomination I think. Hope she wins, though I think Michelle Yim is a very very very tough competitor.
Paul, do you have info on previous years’ nominations? Can show us? I think Biren is the most nominated actress followed by Ivy, both of whom eventually went on to win one.
This is Joanne’s first nomination. Jeanette already nominated once liao. So they’re on equal footing at the moment. Haha. Though I still think Jeanette did better than Joanne in the The Little Nonya. Sigh.

Firstly, congratulations to all 8 of them who are nominated for the Asian Television Awards. Paul, are you one of the judges? o.o You speak like you are one of the judges ah? ^^ Heaven got no eye if Chen Han Wei does not win siah! Indeed, indeed. But this is Asian Television Awards, not Star Awards. So.. Yes.. Anything can happen. Anyway, I was shocked to see that Jeanette Aw is not nominated when Joanne Peh is. Congratulations Joanne! Jeanette, don’t be disheartened.. In time to come, your turn will come. Paul, I don’t think Joanne will get a double whammy. In fact, I think she is one of the weakest few in the nomination list. At least, in the bottom-half. Zoe is also in the bottom-half for me. I am currently watching the re-run of “The Unbeatables” on Channel 8 every night at 12 and I feel that Zoe’s acting now has deteriorated a lot as compared to the past, where she was acting in “The Unbeatables”. So.. Fann Wong and Michelle Kim are both my choice for the Best Actress Category! For the Best Actor, Chen Han Wei looks indeed convincing. But I have no idea who is Myung Min Kim so I have no idea of where he stands at all. And mad young fans of Lee Min Ho, sorry to spoil your excitement towards this but I don’t think he will win. His chances are as slim as Pierre’s. -.- Good luck to these stars representing Singapore once again!
(Paul: No lah, I ‘m not the judge and yes, Lee Min Ho or whatever won’t win for sure)

Whoever wins the Asian TV Awards will be the pride of our nation.
Just a word to all our contestants, you got to be at your best looks for the nite. Ladies, your dressing will carry weight and earn extra marks, your hairstyle is very important, do you know what I mean.
Guys, you also got to be at your best looks. 715, you got to wear a ‘bow-tie’ and a waist satch. Paul, please remind 715 to put one a ‘bow-tie’ and a waist satch, cannot go just unbutton his shirt, not nice. This is a formal Asia Award nite, your appearance will carry you extra marks.
Ladies, if you want to win, you ought to look classic, matured and sensual. Go and find your tailor and they will know what to design for you for the nite.

i have to admit that i am a little disappointed that jeanette was not nominated for the Best Actress category. but there is no denying that the other nominees in the category are well-deserving of their nomination, and i’m really happy for them too

Any artiste won the the title for best actor or best actress will do something proud for Singapore. However to those who didn’t win that doesn’t mean they are no good. Actually all the Singapore nominees already considered got some standard or else those judges will not just simply selected them to compete with others.

hey paul,
Did you even watch “Boys over Flowers”? Or else it would not fair for you to say that Lee Min Ho “won’t win FOR SURE”.
Well I agree that Lee Min Ho indeed pales in comparison when contested against all the veterans who have many years of acting experience. However, it is unfair to deny his efforts and abilities just because “Boys over Flowers”is an idol drama which some may condemn or whatsoever. Lee Min Ho is a good actor for his age and he does deserve the nomination. More importantly, he should not be treated insignificantly or even taken as a joke. Well, unless the judges’ professionalism is doubted…
(Paul: I watched lah…yah…he is in no fight as compared to the other more experienced actor…)

It is only reasonable that Jeanette is not in it since Joanne is already the Best Actress for the Star Award Nite. The judges cannot contradict themselves, understand. The night is still young, Jeanette will have her day if she doesn’t give up hope.
I want to bless all our above contestants and that the favour of God be with them. Although Michelle is one of my favourite artistes since donkey years ago, let hope that our contestants could make a breakthrough this year.

hi paul,
i beg to differ about you saying that lee min ho paled in comparison compared to the other nominees and being so sure that he won’t win for sure…Actually, i think he’s a better actor compared to 715,pierre png and adrian.Despite being just 22 years old, he can act well.. sorry to say, compare him with dai yang tian and elvin ng, he really acted better than them. Fans of both of them, pls do not shoot me cus i am being fair about my comments..Although i am not really a fan of lee min ho, i feel that it’s unfair not to give him credit for his acting skills and instead, said he won’t win for sure.. No offence, paul.. i dun mean to be rude, but i just felt unfair to give such comments:(
like what you have mentioned in the previous post, you’ve watched BOF and pls notice that he brought out his emotions well for the last few episodes of boys over flowers. Even my friend who was doesn’t really like the character of ‘gu jun pyo’ said that she liked ‘lee min ho’ as a good actor..
Sorry, i am just trying to make a fair comment here..

Why can’t Jeanette Aw fans just face the real truth & the real fact that your Idol is not as good as Joanne Peh and keep lameting , blaming , wondering , questioning & asking just why is she not being nominated but Joanne Peh is ? The answer & the reason is very simple & clear !
That is , Jeanette Aw is just not good enough to be nominated ! The reality may be very cruel & very hard for u to accept & believe , but it is simply the cold hard FACT & the REAL TRUTH !
STOP lIVING in your own world & dreams & face the reality & accept the fact ! Stop blowing your own trumpet & saying how good your Jeanette is when she has already lost TWICE to Joanne Peh !
Now Joanne Peh will go on to win the Best Actress Award for the second time this year & prove to u that she is indeed many times better than your Jeanette ! Her winning the Award will make many people start to take notice of her ! She will be the EYES of Asian viewers all over when she wins !
Then Joanne popularity will start to rise & soar steadily ! Things are beginning to look brighter & really even better for her though she did not get the New Moon endorsement !
When she eventually does wins this Best Actress Award , she will then really anger all of your to death ! This will be the perfect answer to answer all her critics , especially to those who critiise her so badly right after she wins the Star Awards Best Actress Award !
This also further proves that the Star Awards Judges are indeed right in giving the Best Actress Award to Joanne Peh , and not Jeanette !
Mark my words ! She will do a double over Jeanette & make the misery really complete for all of u all Jeanette Aw Fans by winning this Asian Television Awards Best Actress Award !

And.. I actually think that Pierre Png and 715 are such weird entries..
Ha Yu and Moses from HK are so much more deserving in the “Heart of Greed” series.
But, differing tastes la ^^
Congrats to Zoe for finally getting a nomination. Looks like it’s paving a way for another nod at SA 2010?
(Paul: Awards very hard to say…maybe the panel didn’t like the over-the-top scolding and quarreling bits from the HK dramas…you noticed all the Best Actors’ Nominees were in understated roles? I think the panel leans towards picking ’silent’ killer this year)

even if you think our artiste should have a high chance of winning, please be humble….
Even if Lee Min Ho does not have a chance to win, there is still Kim Myung Min.. He is one of the best actor in Korea….

what do u mean if chen hanwei doesnt win, heaven got no eyes. its an insult to all other nominees. and i personally dont think he is the best. in terms of acting, the two korean nominees are not any worse. well, maybe you are a big fan of chen hanwei’s acting but no offence, but that does not warrant you to make such a comment. whether lee min ho wins or not, heaven no eyes or not is not up to u to say. please at least show some respect for a new actor instead of making rude remarks.
(Paul: Oh well…considered it a consolation that some are in the nomination because even HK stars like Chen Hao and Xia Yu of TVB’s Moonlight Resonance also lost to Lee Min Ho…)

Most of the nominees are Singaporeans, Is this really an Asian Awards?lol
Japan and Korea are just bunch of extras.
I just thought its funny knowing their credibilities in doing dramas.
(Paul: Singaporeans tend to be more critical of their own local stars…but really, they have wiped off other Korean, HK and Japan popular TV stars in this year’s ATV Awards…)

I actually wonder why jeanette didn’t get it for Little Nyonya… Even though many people thinks that she deserves it, and she does have a big role.
And i guess that alot of jeanette fan’s are disappointed, but even if her role in TLN does not win awards, it already has won awards in many audiences hearts… And that’s what eventually matters.
I just hope that the judges did not choose the singaporeans because they are, well singaporeans. But i do believe that getting nominated is a feat enough, given that they are competing on a regional stage.
Someone did say that other countries choose to step aside, but that makes me wonder if michelle yim for moonlight is considered stepping aside… really, because she is very strong competition. Though i do think that Michelle yim is really awesome i wonder if Zoe, Fann, Joanne or Yvonne can beat her or not.
I hope that Yvonne gets it, and if she doesn’t hopefully they give it to who deserves it–Michelle Yim.

I’m sure that Michelle will win the Best Actress Award. This is because all the nomination for best actress is so ‘lao ya’ except Michelle.Michelle acting is superb. Her acting can attract youngsters although she is old.So, please wake up from your dreaming sg actress especially jp.
(Paul: Not on your side dear…Michelle Yim doing well is expected but Joanne Peh being so young and in a oh-so-hot-and-award-winning role is one which judges are probably casting their votes for…)

Not really looking forward la. Think that Star Awards better. LOL.
Hmm, but SA2009 wasn’t really good, the judges abit bias towards TLN.
Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress categories were pretty shocking in a bad way. Hope that history won’t repeat next year :X

Why are u mocking at us again when you are mocking at yourself? Ridiculously Childish. Even Hong Kong actors like Ha yu and Chen Hao does that mean that they are not good? Beauty are in the eyes of the beholder. Maybe different judges have different tastes? So what even if she is good in acting? Where is her popularity? Her popularity comes from people like you who pull down other artistes? Huh? Who are you to say her popularity will rise?
Jeanette was already nominated last year for rhythm of life. But she wasn’t nominated for Star Awards 2009? This means that beauty is in the eyes of beholder. And different judges have different tastes. And for Joanne to have such a mean and degrading fan is really a disgrace for her.
She didn’t get acting award but exchanged it for many many other awards. In terms of the huge rise of popularity, huge lodes of endorsements and even awards in all areas!!!
You arre really a disgrace 呕萱 and it’s the reason why more and more people hate her. Causing her dwindling popularity. You are the cause! Gratz, u have successfully pulled down JP popularity! TO A NEW LOW!

I watched Little Nonya too. and seriously don’t find what’s the big hooha about Jeanette’s acting. And to state: I am neither Jeanette, Joanna or any 7 princesses fan, just a normal public viewer who watches MDC show randomly. (notice the word – public?)
See even Yvonne who wasn’t the main character of the show, she was still being nominated, so definitely not becoz Joanna won at SA before, therefore she was nominated automatically. Likewise for Pierre, his role in Little Nonya wasn’t that pivotal, yet he was nominated. Believe the judges come from everywhere, so that reduces biasness, so don’t be so over protective of your idols. There are times of winning and losing as well, so just look ahead for more of their shows to come.
Anyway, congrats to those being nominated for Asian Awards and all the best to the eventual winner!

” YHIM ” for Joanne Peh is mean ” You have irritation mind “
subjective/objective on 14 Nov 2009 at 11:11 pm #
Yeahh Jeanette exchanged her awards for endorsements, popularity and a sure shot to fame. She definitely gained more that Joanne every would from Little Nyonya. People will remember that she was THE little nyonya, not that JP was the best actress, So she gains. whee.
I really doubt that michelle yim will win though… seriously, look at the numbe of singapore actresses there. though i know that if someone wins they wouldn’t give it to yvonne. if they just cast their votes for their “oh-so-hot” joanne, purely because she is “oh-so-hot”, then i question their judging. Admittedly, her role is outstanding, but so is michelle yim’s one too. but then again, i’m not the judge, so… And you really think that michelle yim’s acting can attract youngsters? Though i think her acting is like awesomee, but i disagree. Because then how would you classify lee min ho?
i actually wonder why other countries’ leads lost out in the end… I wonder. really.
(Paul: We are not the judges from Asia so let’s just wait for the night when the result is out lah…if you hear of Michelle Yim coming to Singapore to attend, you can be sure that she is the ultimate winner)

Hi Paul, pls may I know where is this award originated from? I read HK news about Michelle Yim being the only one from HK who was nominated for drama best actress award. They said this award is given out by Singapore, a Singapore award. Is that correct?
Just to mention, in this HK news, they said Michelle Yim is facing competiton from nominees such as Fann Wong & the Korea actress. No mention of the other S’pore nominees. Steady lah, Fann, the one real SINGAPORE artiste who the foreign media know.
And even her Bally ribbon-cutting gig at Ion was reported in Taiwan media.
Oh ya, Paul what is Fann’s new local movie mentioned in TNP yesterday?
(Paul: It is not a Singapore’s award but some regional organisation doing so for the last 14 years…I knew about Fann’s movie a while ago but it was not yet public news…)

Paul,if as what you said, then the 41th TVB anniversary last year, Best Actor Award should be given to Raymond, but why TVB gave it to Ha Yu?This is because Ha Yu acting skills is better than Ray. I know your reason for PROTECTING your JP,because she is Singaporean but she not deserve it.Please think rationally Paul.If you keep on protecting Jp, your fans will feel very disappointed over you.
Wow! on 15 Nov 2009 at 9:01 pm #
Actually I am surprised that so many of our artistes are in! Wow!
I think the editing of the entries for the nomination process very important also. Maybe the edited parts for Jeanette’s performance were not fabulous – quite average scenes, whereas for Joanne they gave all her dramatic scenes? I think perhaps that’s why Joanne got in instead.
Whatever it is, Jeanette has proven herself to be more popular than Joanne. Joanne’s guan zhong yuan is still not good enough, while Jeanette’s is much better! Anyway, this is shaping to be like Fann VS Zoe in the 90s. Hahaha!!! Jeanette, I’ll give u my vote though!

okay thanks. i read the i weekly today i guess that ivy and mcs are still on good terms i supposed and i hope if furthur if times allow, mcs might invite ivy lee back for star award to give out some awards cos she won 4 best actress be in SA or ATV.. however its a pity to see ivy cannot get super star award as she only gt 7 X top 10 most popular female.
will mediacorp give her some other recognition next year sa2010 even though she might not obtain 10X most popular female. i remember jack neo got such recognition award before where he only got 6 X most popular male.
ivy lee achievement is quite good. almost every drama she was the no 1 lead, not female lead but no 1 lead in most dramas. and she gt many endorsements deal like the australia high class sweets(cant rem the brand), Tian Po Jewels (Mother day advertisement), Tag Heuer spokesperson, NEA ambassador, Mary Chia Slimming Centre and Magic Clean advertisement all in 2009. Apart from her good endorsement deals, she also shoot a lot of dramas in 2004 (Xi Lin Men 100plus eps), 2006 (3 X 9pm slot drama)and 2008 (the 7pm 100plus eps drama). she also got ATV best actress in 2001, SA Best actress in 2000,2004 and 2006, 7X SA Most popular female, Most popular new comer. with such a good achievement i hope the MCS SA committee can give her some recognition.

There are manyyyyy factors in selecting a nominee. Not just acting.
So yeap, shouldn’t complain..
What’s more, the award is held in Singapore. Probably one of the factors is whether the nominated artistes could attend.
Nothing wrong with that if you guys think rationally.

I don’t think that is what all us supporters of overseas actors/actresses meant, perhaps you have misunderstood what we want to say. Actually, there is no need to swing to the extreme to argue that local actors/actresses are capable, we want Mediacorp to be good too, and what we meant is that overseas actors/actresses have the skills worth local artistes’ emulation. Hope you don’t take it too personally, it’s just about improvement.
And I hope you don’t use such an accusing tone to criticise overseas actors/actresses, it’s just as frustrating to see singaporeans complaining about local artistes for you. I am sure you understand what we mean cos you’re very sharp and attentive in listening to us fans.
(Paul: Ok, thank you)

It is their RIGHTS.
That’s why in this world there is a term so called “FANS”.
If all the fans just keep their mouth shout on their idols, what the entertainment world will be? It is goin to be so silence like you’re in the graveyard.
Just make this blog as a happy blog, you just praise anyone that you like, and critic some for improvement if any, do not bad mouth the person.

First and foremost everyone of us is entitled to voice out our opinions and comments.
We can agree or disagree to any comments~duh!
As for Lee Min Ho~ It doesnt matter to me if he wins or not.The fact that he’s nominated is good enough for me. Take note that Min Ho was only ‘21′ yrs young when he played this character. BOF was an idol drama, it’s lighthearted compared to the other nominees. IMO, his acting wasnt green whatever you called it. The character was a manga adaptation and he nailed it ~ as simple as that! His performance was solid as Doumyoji Tsukasa(Goo Jun Pyo) ~ and the character had been played and adapted by Taiwan/Japan/even Mainland China. Min Ho might not win but he definitely looks promising as an actor~ something that I cant really say w/ some of Singaporean young actors(meh~ they’re mostly wooden.lol. No offence just an opinion)
