   If media corp can’t find pretty young actress for idol drama, there are plenty in taiwan. The female lead spoil the show.

   @to someone who asked about Michelle chia’s real age
   Yeap, the person who keep harping on MC’s age is right. MC is indeed 37 this Sept. she has acted with AK in the piano drama years ago & at that time they became good friends too & they said they were the same age. And yeap, Sharon Au had talked about her debut TV acting was the docu-drama, Ma jie with Michelle Chia. Sharon did say actually she was the one picked to play the lead role of Ma jie, but later the producer said Michelle is more suitable coz Sharon is too young, only 13 then, whereas Michelle’s age is just nice, 15 then. And Sharon is 35 this year, so Michelle chia should be 37 this year. MC shouldn’t lie as this will only expose her to be insincere & insecure. That’s not a good public image for a tourist attraction.

   @ Lee Lin & all other Zt fans
   Pls don’t give lame reason that zt got bombarded coz she is over-exposed. Pls, she only acted in 1 or 2 dramas a year for years, so how exposed is she? Her endorsements are few for years before she got her 1st child, then the endorsements come back again, but most are baby endorsements. And 2009 she only got 1 tv drama & no endorsements, so how over-exposed is she?

   zt was bombarded more of her own behaviour. The media, mcs & her fans have spoiled her & so she really thinks she is the queen & so she has the right to assess any artistes, or boss her colleagues around at the SA or talk freely to the media about how she isn’t paid during her pregnancy etc.

   zt was also bombarded coz she freely take any endorsements that come her way & tell stories that didn’t gel with her endorsements. Maybe, she was forced to take those endorsements by mcs coz they want to earn comm. Or maybe, she herself desperately need these endorsements coz she didn’t have many endorsements for years. We must always remember TV station doesn’t pay their artistes much, they need endorsements & outside jobs to earn a very good income.

   And for those who asked mcs to cut down zt’s exposure are really very cruel. She can only do local dramas & nowadays, most of the cool roles are given to the younger artistes & her fans don’t want to see her in aunty roles, so the aunty roles are pass on to AK, Cynthia & all those veterans. So what is left of zt?

   I would suggest MCS should write roles for actresses like zt, who is in her 40s & looks her age. But these roles need not always be aunty roles. It can be a lady entreprenuer who is single & dating or a boutique boss & occasionally a modern tai-tai or a sloppy housewife. One thing bad about MCS is that whenever an actress aged, then she will be cast as a dowdy housewife. Why can’t a woman in her 40s still have fashion sense & why actresses in her 40s stop falling in love? She can still act as a fashionable divorcee finding love again etc.

   And zt fans just have to accept that zt is in fact more wrinkled than her peers & stop giving all those false claims. I mean this was already exposed on HD TV format, so what is there to argue. It will only make you fans look stupid. Her Mag shots are all airbrushed, that’s why the media can cover up for her & keep brain-washing her fans that she looks younger than her age. In fact, many years ago before she married & has children, already got reporters said she has wrinkles & looks older than LNX, so pls don’t blame her childbirth & her 2 innocent children. All these years, 8days has been airbrushing her wrinkles & then brainwash her fans that she looks much younger than her peers. She was lucky that HD wasn’t invented many years ago.

   FW youthful look is always praise by foreign media, not her fans. So it’s unwise of you zt fans keep pulling fw to compare with zt. So to be nice to zt, her fans should stop comparing these 2 ah jies, otherwise, many ugly truths about zt will be digged up again-her wrinkles, her lacklustre career & her lack of achievements for more than 10 yrs etc.

   So zt fans pls learn to be smart & honest & accept the facts & then learn to help zt. Never ask mcs to cut down her exposure, that is her rice-bowl for goodness sake.
   If you fans stop scolding other artistes & keep saying & boasting that zt is #1 & only queen etc, then zt will be fine. No exposure is too much if her fans behave well & zt herself stop behaving like a queen. zt can still continue to do 2 dramas a year, pls.

   It’s a pity that zt fans think she is over-exposed. It’s just that she is over glorified by her fans & the media & her own belief in those glories that is killing her career.

   It’s also MCS keep pushing her to the top in all the big shows & that’s when her inexperience & inability to handle it are being exposed.

   Pls continue to give zt good & suitable lead roles & dramas. Pls also stop heaping her with false praises & unnecessary burdensome titles. Let her relax & starts to enjoy acting, it’s better for her this way.

   I find Fel and ZYD quite a matching couple in Love Blossoms. Many ppl feel the same too ^.^

   But her and DYT is probably the best pairing anybody could think of right now ^.^

    Its nice to see another idol drama coming up… But hope its not too comical like those taiwan idol dramas… haha

    I find that DYT’s role personality is similar to his real life…为人慢热、不懂得和人沟通，在不认识的人眼中，看起来十分酷，实则是个温柔、没脾气的男人。

    Perhaps he will play this role better as compared to his previous roles

    What? LOL i don’t even idolize DYT. i just find it funny that elvin’s character has that name, like 天底下所有的名字不选却偏偏要选这个？ and somehow this may subconsciously create the image of DYT when audiences watch elvin’s character. may or may not be a good thing for elvin.

    Paul, did Life Transformers II has a very high viewership last wk, cos it shows as #1, whereas Happy Family only #2? So how bad is Happy Family viewership? LT is really very very good, very touch that the production team actually paid the electricity & water bill for the 3 brothers. Looking forward to it every Monday night.

    The Calrsberg telemovie still can’t make it to top 5, ahem, not enough star power in DYT & JP? But i guess, mcs isn’t giving up on them & still try very hard to make them look popular, haiz.

    Paul, any intention to stop shooting YHIMH? This drama is probably the worst drama MCS ever produced, hehehe. So JP going to be tied down for this drama until May?

    Paul, you twitted that Mei Xin is going on the Ch 8 CNY show? But I thought her manager boasted that she will appear in the China CNY live show? Is your info correct & up to date?

    And for this new drama, you mean there will be another female lead besides Felicia? No cast yet?

    (Paul: LT is one of those rare productions as high as any drama. From my list, Mei Xin’s name is intact leh… The other female swimmer not really a lead lah…oh well…I don’t know…)

    Anyone had noticed who writes the Stories for 皇帽瑞狮喜迎虎 – 电视电影系列 – the Channel CNY Carlsberg Telemovie Series ? The Scriptwriter is actually 黄佳华 – the same Scriptwriter who wrote 双子星 – The ULTIMATUM & 同心圆 which it’s Sequel – 同心圆 2 was the Highest Viewership Drama for the Year 2005 !

    And after having watched four Episodes of the Carlsberg Telemovie Series , I can’t help but have this thinking that this Scriptwriter 黄佳华 is just only good at writing stories or plots revolving scheming and plotting against each other over family fortunes or who the person’s real biological parents are or both in a Drama Series itself ….

    First , it is 同心圆 , then the Scriptwriter tried this plot again on 双子星 , and now we see almost the same type of plot / story again at this Carlsberg Telemovie Series – Zoe Tay Episode ( Epsiode 1 ) and last night’s Episode ….

    Although many people would be blaming the Scriptwriter for destroying the Blockbuster 双子星 with what they consider was the fault of a weak and lousy script , I must say that this Carlsberg Telemovie so far has certainly lived up to it’s expectations and the story has been very well written and certainly much better than 双子星 !

    I am really enjoying watching the Carlsberg Telemovie Series so far despite the plot of the Series is again somewhat surrounding the same Themes ! Really looking forward to it’s Finale this Saturday ! Hope it will be a really good last Episode ! This Telemovie really has the feel of a MEGA Blockbuster Drama ! If only 双子星 was produced with exactly the same high standard as this , or should I say if this Telemovie Series had been last year’s Mid Year Blockbuster Drama instead ! … Haiz …

    The Big name Casts would not have to suffer all the bashings and critisms as well as in terms of viewership ratings too ! On the whole the Carlsberg Telemovie is BETTER than 双子星 ,although it also touched on the issue of plotting for family fortunes & real biological parents Theme …

    i would have preferred dawn yeoh. dawn is “sunnier” and “smilier”.

    “sian” that it is felicia chin – she gives me the creeps.

    i hope she has gone for some sort of training to avoid another flop, dragging dyt and elvin down at the same time.

    her eyes are ok, but her mouth not nice. she may have to improve the look of her mouth or the way she smiles is so stretched. her lips are so thin yet her mouth is so big. she is definitely not a “natural” beauty. so if her acting is no good. it is really double whammy to watch her.

    like baby bonus, i’ll give this show a miss.

    i hope just one show for her will be good enough. i hope to pick up some nice serials from tvb instead.

    this ep who chose her is damn daring. i hope the other eps are more careful.

    what is the reason dawn is not chosen? i am certain dawn is a much better choice. dawn has the X-FACTOR. she reminds me of fann wong. no need to undergo any plastic like fc, dawn is a definite “natural” beauty. if there is a chance, paul, can u make the switch to dawn please?

( my girl friend live near his house and saw alot of time liao ) …

    haha so happy that my suggestions for all 3 leads are taken into consideration. Spot on! The chinese title is good but English title maybe can tweek it abit? (Sorry, cant think of anything now!)

    Regarding the characters name, i must say that it is really unorginal and super lack of creativity. It’s so not cool nor funny to use DYT’s (inverted) name AND real nick as EN’s character’s name. I mean, invert his name is unoriginal enough, still use his real nick? Come’on, you can do better than that! At least DYT’s character’s name: 王子乐 sounds better. Is there any chance “阳阳”欧天阳 can be changed? It is also totally not fair to EN, as he seems to be living in DYT’s shadow, regardless off screen or on screen.

    To sidetrack abit, Paul, in this case those leads acting in this drama, the soonest they can participate in the next drama would be Dec? I was hoping that DYT can actually get to be in the Lawyer show..he will make a really cool and suave lawyer, with his dashing good looks and gift of the gab language abiility!

    Any idea when in march will they start filming, and when will filming end? DYT has a trip mid-march leh..how to film? Also heard that he has TLN’s promo upcoming? (Is the Myanmar trip still on, or cancelled? any idea when it will be huh?) Gee, like that he has totally no break at all after the Telemovie and now gotta prepare for this drama liao…!

First we have “Together” and now the history is repeating itself again. And to add insult to it, his name is almost the same as DYT???? Is that purposely? Its like Elvin is indirectly helping DYT to further raise up his popularity in this show . Can we be fair to Elvin? His appearance and recent performance is not that bad to always stick behind DYT.      seriously i think u overly exaggerated. as a FC fan, i wont say she is very good in acting. but not as bad as u claim. if u say she sld take other jobs, i think quite alot of MDC actress also have to go man.      hi paul … hmm … watched JA’s prince & princess show hosted by dasmond koh and of the opinion that JA has the korean actress look when she wore the korean style dresses; very pretty and demure. yuan shuai has a resemblance of this korean actor who is on the korean show now … the one about hospital!!. can cast yuan shuai in idol drama show also; i think he’s pretty cute and good looking too.

     aiyo.. just in case u new…got many pple say — cant act, got funny voice, very act act, very gei gei, not natural…we say so many many times..but this mediacorp dont listen…they still want to let her act…then let her act lah…but i tell u sure Failure Confirmed for this show one..all my friends and my parents’ friends all will not watch one…sure go change channel to TVB or channel u liao loh…..just u can do this if mediacorp always dont listen.. just u dont support them for this show lor! of course beta they change let other people act lor..maybe dawn yeoh? if change actress liao, then u can watch lor…
