These four awards are by online voting only, so we are expecting the legions of youth fans to rally behind their favourite artistes to help them win the awards! (Online voting period is from March – Apr, dates to be released later) But they need to be nominated before they can get your vote, so tell us!

Being online awards, will the ‘trend 到不清不楚‘ youth drama On The Fringe 边缘父子 get the teen actors some nominations? Showbiz has a very short memory; will fans still remember them? We don’t know! What we do know is that Kim Chia/Edwin Goh/Ian Fang each have a huge fanbase who will retweet their every tweet, will this be enough? Tell us on Twitter, Facebook and 微薄!
The online fervour for On The Fringe may also rub off on Fann and Nanxing, who portrayed a subtle and protective relationship, to gain them a nomination under Favourite Onscreen Couple!
Did this lovely doctor couple Min Fei & Guo En leave an impression on you? We have been hearing alotta love for The Oath online too! Chris Lee and Jesseca could get nominated under The Oath or Secrets for Sale…
Last year’s winners Rui En and Elvin Ng also traditionally do well online, so they may each garner support for nominations in the individual Male/Female categories, as well as the Ruivin pairing in Code of Honour 正义武馆! Did you also remember Elvin’s role in C.L.I.F. as the laidback & adorable Sgt Teo 张贵祥, or Rui En’s role as the long-suffering 茶碗蒸 in The In-Laws with Pierre Png? Her bimbotic Zhang Yale in A Tale of 2 Cities may also face Joanne Peh’s sexy Pan Le Yao in the Fave Female category!
Joanne and Qi Yu Wu too have a double chance this year with C.L.I.F. and A Song to Remember. Coincidentally both their roles do not end up ‘together’, but their fine acting have brought out the latent attraction between their characters! Enough chemistry to garner a spot in your wishlist?
On the Variety side, we are looking for Favourite Variety Host this year, instead of the 综艺搭档s last year!
Will Bryan 王禄江 win some support through his many many projects this year? He has used his artistic/handyman talents in programmes like Behind Every Job 2, Renaissance 旧欢。新爱 and more!
Pornsak has also delivered his unique brand of cheery enthusiasm in Food Source 2 食在好源头 this year. Not forgetting Ben Yeo (名厨上菜 2, 大脚印), Chris Lee (阿顺历险记), and the veteran hosts Guo Liang, Dasmond Koh, Dennis Chew 周崇庆 and many more!!
The ladies on the variety circuit may give the boys a run for their money! We have Vivian Lai, Michelle Chong, Kym Ng and even Chen Li Ping in the running!

On the fringe: honestly, ONLY IAN FANG and the ‘tomato’ CAN ACT!
Kimberly,elizabeth,edwin their acting very unnatural and somehow, speaking wise, not fluent at all!
So, I don’t think in my opinion they should get any award? Maybe try harder next round.

Hey Paul, you should reconsidered the award name for “Favourite Variety Show Host”. There may be conflict between Info-Ed Host and Variety Host…. I suggest you change it to “Favourite Show Host” instead… or to split to 2 different awards “Favourite Variety Show Host” and “Favourite Info-Ed Programme Host”…. At least you can differentiate between the two different type of host….

Honestly, they ‘should’ ace it but since it is a ch U drama .. chances are a big fat Zero.
So Fav couple : Jessica and Chris Lee in the ‘Oath’.
The dance J & C.. That ‘ s chemistry + Olivia’s ‘when the seas run dry’ .. That’s is feelings quite
unmatch by other on-screen couples.
So Fav male char: Edwin Goh (on the fringe) … a firecracker that is ever ready to blow at any time.
Chris Lee (the oath) … like good wine, taste good with age . Or some one else ? Some one like XiaoXiao in a Song to Remember?
Fav. female char: Should it be Jessica in the ‘Oath’ or some one else ? Some one like JuiMei in a Song to Remember?
Why XiaoXiao and JuiMei ?
Simple because I see ‘hunger’ in them, I see ‘freshness’ in them, I see 2 persons who know a once in a lifetime opportunity has knock and they seize the day.
That’s some thing that did not happen for quite a long while on local dramas.
On top of everything else. They outshine the other bright stars.
J. Tan truly outshine Miss J. Peh by a factor of 10.
D. Tan truly outshine 715. A lively one vs a most dull one.
Other honorable mentions: Elvin Ng in C.L.I.F. and Wang XinRu (who bring a new sense of sexiness on screen).

What, is this serious? The young ones will have a chance to get nominated. To be frank, they are still not up to standard yet. Can we have those professional actors/actress to receive awards at the ceremony? Actors like Pinghui (aka Donghai) or Elvin (aka Guixiang) Christopher (aka Guoen) are the professional ones who did proud on their roles. As for couple, I felt that the chemistry between Elvin and Tracy was so cute in CLIF or Joanne and Yaodong was also funny in TO2C so hopefully these pairs would be considered. In fact, for this online voting it is quite obvious which group of celebs nominated will walk away with the award, for the celebs with huge fan base so actually this category is not really fair to all nominated celebs.

Paul, to be honest, I see no point in having these awards. Look at other international award ceremonies, all award winners are determined by professional judges instead of voting by audience. Please do not increase award categories just so that EVERYONE gets something. Please keep such awards (by voting) to a minimum. For audience voting, Top 10 male and female artistes are enough. Please seriously consider so that the professionalism of star awards can be maintained.

Same here. I felt that besides Top 10 Male and Female voting by public and fans, the other awards should be by panel of professional judges. It gives more credibility to the yearly events. Also I felt that the same old actors and actresses are nominated year after year. Take a look at Academy, Golden Globe or Golden Horse Awards. Every year we see different winners. Mediacorp pool of artistes is still very small and we see their faces in almost all shows. Its getting to be very boring and predictable!

Favourite Onscreen Couple 最喜爱荧幕情侣 – Zhou Jia Qi & Zheng Ren Yi. Love them both in the 2 dramas this year, but Jia Qi & Ren Yi’s story was more heartbreaking given the sacrifices Renyi made for the sake of Jiaqi. Jess & Chris performed extremely well and they are like made for one another.
