#clif C.L.I.F. 警徽天职 – Review of the first episode
Last week our bloggers were invited to view the first episode of C.L.I.F.警徽天职!
What exactly do they think about it? Our bloggers didn’t hold anything back!
Timefliesofast didn’t fancy the beginning of the episode 1 too much….
“The start / first episode of a drama is the most important thing the drama needs. You need a captivating one, one that captures your attention, and it should give an overall introduction to the drama. I think I was quite disappointed in the starting because instead of seeing a nice start, I saw words on the screen! What is a drama? It is a video. Video uses pictures and scenes to tell the story, not words! Else we’d be reading books instead of watch it.”

Peiwen however thought that “the first episode of C.L.I.F is really something!”
“Being a super fan of TVB productions, I can say that this time round, C.L.I.F is up to the standards of TVB dramas or maybe even out-win them in certain areas. When you first turn on a tv, you look out for dramas that catch your attention and one which really allows you to continue watching and worth spending your time sitting in front of the television. ”
Peiwen even created her own wallpaper of the show!
The riot scene set in Thailand took 3 days under the blazing sun of Terengganu, and it rightly left a deep impression on our bloggers.
Peiwen says: “The first scene was about the riot and omg it’s sort of scary at some point because I was seated at the first row and it’s as if it was a 3D movie. “
Thanks to the support of the Singapore Police Force, the production team also pulled off a huge protest scene of workers, and had to be dispersed by ang cia (red car, which are Foward Command Vehicles!)
The adorable Wanting said of the Special Operation Command guys: “I know words cant describe these but it was truly AWESOME! they were so united!! and you can see how they actually worked in real life! i was watching and i literally went WOW. THEY DAMN NICE SIA.”
One of our invited bloggers Qing Ling gave her honest opinions. She also talked about 4 things to expect from the show!
“Action – Steoreotypical scenes… ….was so predictable. But scenes where demonstrators wrecked havoc, and where a strike turned into a riot which are never seen on TV (except in the news) take prominence here. The police force shows off all their high-tech vehicles and capable commands operators.”
Violence – In the first episode alone, there were 2 riots, and fighting ensued. I’m not sure if the team will encounter anymore in the later episodes, but it seems to be quite an important focus in this drama.
Suspense – Time ticking on bombs. Bombs are another important focus in this drama, and it is definitely realistic, with terrorism a threat in the world today.
Mystery – This is not a crime-series, where the team solves murder cases. However, identifying suspects and questioning their motives is another key focus. Some characters are mysterious too, like Qi Yuwu’s character – it is only known that he is an orphan.
Comedy – Yes, it exists in this drama! Elvin Ng plays a super lazy cop who is forever yawning and wanting to slack on the job. I can’t wait to see more.”
The 3 male leads stood out in particular for our bloggers:
Elvin Ng: “Elvin Ng’s character was super hilarious/funny. He keeps yawning and he is portrayed as a lazy/ slacky kind of police who doesn’t like to do extra work. I think he’s too cute to act as a policeman! LOL!”
Qi Yu Wu: “One character that really caught my eye was the one that Qi Yu Wu was acting as. You could tell that he had no family members and is a really lonely person even before he said he had no family members. Really liked his role/his acting. Best actor indeed.”
Tay Ping Hui: “Hero to the rescue! He even saved a little boy from an exploding car!”

Cast properly, Unriddle2 belongs to the viewers who backed Unriddle1 and Unriddle2, not fans of others. Don’t turn your back against the ones who make this happen for people who wants to ride on this.

最火恐怕不太适合他,应该找比如Desmond (才华)黄俊雄,戚玉武钸演.在Mio TV看了警徽,我很喜欢监制做的Casting,我也希望最火搭挡2也能够一样.选对的演员非常重要

Channel 8 的 Facebook 网站 , 我有自己的看法,戚玉武比较适合,警徽里他演得不错,戚玉武和瑞恩至从2005年的电视剧拥抱明天后就没一起合作,希望今年或明年有机会,something refreshing

No 方展发 please, he does not suit unriddle 2!!!
Moreover he already pair with re for 2 dramas in a row!
I am pretty sure he can stand on his own feet right??!
His manager pushing him until like that???
For goodness sake, choose the cast for unriddle 2 extremely carefully!!
Actually Thomas Ong can also be considered for the male lead!!!
He and re nicely matched in Metamorphosis and that’s already 5 years ago !!!!
Heard he recently signed with MCS again, he is suitable to be the main lead for unriddle 2!!

the only reason that I can think of for their incompatibility is because 方展发 is too handsome and 瑞恩 is too ugly.
