Yes, the new Rui En you all have been waiting for… She is playing this ‘ding-dong-merrily-on-high’ cutesy simple girl in the new drama ‘Happy Family 过好年’. It will be televised from 19 January after the current drama ‘当我们同在一起 Together’ ends on the 18 January (a back-to-back finale of 2 episodes).

It’s so refreshing to see RE in role that’s so different from the ones we’re used to seeing her in. I’m pretty sure judging from the pix that she’s going to prove her versatility and range.
Totally agree about how RE is completely different from the rest of the Mediacorp actresses. She’s so much more real and natural.

REn is the only Mediacorp actress that really really act. She is very natural. It is so strange why Mediacorp uses the same old people and does not use her for bigger shows like ‘Little Nonya’, ‘Together’. ‘Ultimation’, etc, etc
She is the new type of actress that makes the people enjoy the routine and boring Channel 8 dramas. Thanks .

That’s the way it should be, rui en. Always smiling and easy going in life. Just not only for the show but after the show as well. You would not be able to comprehend the power of smiles. Smiles at yourself, smiles at your circumstances, smiles at your surroundings, smiles at your blessings, smiles at the less fortunate and you will bring sunshine to them. Some people tend to feel sympathetic to the less fortunate but I feel it will make them more sorrowful. A friendly smile and an extended hand is what they need.
If I drove past a blind man who is carrying a load of tissue papers by the roadside, I will stop and ask if he needs a ride in my car back home. Normally they will say ‘yes’ and he will hop into my car.
If I drove past a handicapped man at the bus stop, I will stop and ask him to take my car and I will send him home to his doorsteps.

Before I just feel so so when watching RE’s drama.
Recently, dont know why this girl is getting more interesting to watch.
She is just RE. She is not trying to act cute, she is not over ambitious, that’s why more people like her.
