Finally the overseas filming phase for “Together” has arrived. I’m not too sure what to expect but I’m definitely looking forward for this new experience.
Time check. 2.06am.
I’m just done packing for my first trip (out of 4 trips) for filming at Malacca. I’m just bringing a duffel bag since it’s only a 3days work trip but you will be amazed by the range of stuff it contains. I’ve got my basic stuff like toiletries and clothes, and of course all my work stuff like scripts, fan etc. In addition, I’m bringing a textbook, lectures notes and my laptop to prepare for my school midterm tests next Monday. Are you amazed by the capacity of my bag? You will be more amazed how heavy it is. IT’S REALLY HEAVY!
Anyway, this post is kinda random because I just wanted to kinda say hello before I leave for the trip. Nothing much interesting to update you guys. Hmm.. Let me think.. Alright, maybe I should just share a little about a production I am involved which is recently launched. Some of you might already know it. It’s a short film, “Little Note” by Royston Tan. I’ll talk more about it when I’m back I promise. For now, you could actually visit http://littlenote.sg/ to learn more about it.
Time check. 2.18am.
It’s just 4 hours before I’ve to be up for my departure to across the border. I better get some sleep. Cheers!

Hi all, it has been a long while since I last blogged. My apologies for the lack of updates.
Ever since I returned from my short getaway to Bangkok, I’ve been working and schooling non-stop.
This is not unexpected because I foresaw that this will be a hectic period since the beginning of this academic semester. (I was spot-on!)
How did I foreshadow this? It’s not too hard to predict because…
I registered for 6 modules instead of the usual 5 modules (i.e. I’m overloading for this academic semester). If everything goes well, I will cover the semester I missed during Star Search and graduate together with my peers. *keeping my fingers crossed*
Concurrently, I’m involved in a Channel 8 drama “Together”, playing as a cop who eventually ended up committing crimes because of his family and love. Also, I’ll be playing as Jeanette Aw’s cousin and yes, I’ll be battling with Dai Yang Tian for her (only in the show!). This drama will require me for filming at Malaysia quite a bit, therefore I’ll be missing about 3 weeks of classes. No worries, I’ve made arrangement for friends to help me voice-record lectures during the 3 weeks, so I could keep up with class when I’m back. *keeping my fingers crossed again*
Insofar, this will be the toughest challenge of my 2years in my acting career. I’m worried, yet I’m also equally excited of the outcomes of both my studies and the drama. I believe if I manage my time well and stay focus, I will conquer this challenge and achieve rewarding results. And in the process, I believe I’ll discover new qualities about myself and I’ll strengthen myself to be a stronger character. (Wow. Very positive huh? Haha. Well. This is the only way I can unfailingly propel myself forward during this tough course of time.) *keeping my fingers crossed again and again*
p.s. I’m officially moved to this blog!
