We have finally confirmed all the 20 contestants. All other applicants would also have received an email thanking you for your participation. We understand and would like to apologize once again for all the anxiety caused to you while you waited patiently for the results.
To the selected 20, CONGRATULATIONS! We will be seeing and working with you soon… the journey has only just begun.
To the those not selected, do not give up if you are truly passionate for acting. Improve your skills and strive for other opportunities that will be coming your way.

If you’re interested and still wondering if you’re up to it, here’s an honest opinion: just come down and give it a try. The process is not painful at all; you will have time to prepare your monologue and the judges are definitely not out to get you. Come down for the Auditions this weekend and take your first step in the journey into stardom!
We will have forms for you here, so no need to print out (unless you are under 18 and need to obtain parental/guardian consent).

Many have left comments with questions on the Talent Hunt on the Streets and the Auditions. So we will post the answers to the FAQs here for all.
Talent Hunt on the Street
Q: Do I still need to join the auditions if I am “talent spotted” during the Talent Hunt on the Street?
A: Yes. The hunt on the streets is really our additional effort to promote the upcoming auditions and to encourage potential candidates to take the next step.
Q: Is there a booth? Where do I find the talent scouts?
A: Our talent scouts (Dasmond Koh and Quan Yi Fong) will be constantly on the move to look out for talents. As such, there are no fixed locations. You will have to keep a look out for them.
Q: What am I suppose to do?
A: The street hunt is not an audition. Our scouts will approach you to interview you with respect to Star Search. The actual auditions will be held on 24 and 25 July at MediaCorp
Auditions
Q: What am I required to bring?
A: Bring along a closed up and a full body photo of yourself. If you are under 18 years of age, print out the contest application form and get your guardian/parent to sign the agreement to allow you to take part.
Q: What am I required to do during the auditions? Do I need to prepare anything?
A: You will need to do a self introduction. You will also be given a short script to act out. If necessary, the panel of judges may require you to add a talent item on the spot. Practise is always the way to be prepared. So practise your self introduction, facial expressions, lines delivery and any talent performance you think can impress our judges.
Q: Can I come for the Singapore auditions if I am not a Singaporean?
A: Please refer to the terms and conditions for details. Generally, Singapore permanent residents and residents with valid permits may take part. You need to ensure that your permits remain valid throughout the competition if you are selected.

We live in stressful times. It is said that one of the main motivation for TV viewing is to destress. TV offers a moment of escapism or a moment of inspiration for the viewer. An artiste plays the part in fronting the programme that offers this benefit. Would you like this to be your career goal? To bring joy and/or inspiration to people? If so, Star Search 10 can be your first step.
