THIS CNY, LOUHEI with noodles~!
If louhei for you each year has always been the same, then maybe it’s time for something new this year!
How about some louhei with noodles? Wanna find out how to create this interesting dish? Read on!
We held our Facebook Friends event two Sundays back- KOKA Chinese New Year Noodle making workshop and it was a great turnout!
Chef Vivian started the workshop with a demonstration on how to cook the KOKA purple wheat noodles – Aglio Olio flavour.
Did you know…that the ideal time to boil your noodles is 2.5 mins?
Look so appetizing isn’t it? Remember to always decorate your noodles with colors!

Then it was hands-on time!
We had some great cooks in our midst!
And now, for the highlight – louhei with noodles!
This dish is extremely easy to prepare!
All you need are carrots, eggs, cucumbers, chicken and any other ingredients you wish to include!
Fun tip: Did you know that adding salt to your raw carrot helps soften the carrot?
Slice all your ingredients into shreds and add them on top of your noodles like this….voila, you are done!

And of course, apart from bringing home more easy techniques to prepare noodles, our Facebook Friends participants were also happy campers as they brought home with them KOKA goodie bags!
